This is an optional external microphone for select Pioneer in-dash head units with built-in microphone that features a 3.5mm microphone input. Installation:
Install the microphone in a position and orientation that will enable it to pick up the voice of the person operating the system.The microphone features an attached 10' (10 Feet) cable with a right-angle male 2.5mm connector which plugs into the microphone input on the rear of your compatible head unit. The microphone comes supplied with a mounting bracket mount it to a clean, flat surface using the supplied two-sided tape.
